Privacy Policy – Apps and Games
This policy applies to mobile apps and games published by JURACODE Krzysztof Jura (JuraCode) on Google Play and other distribution channels. It explains what data may be processed when you use our apps and what rights you have.
1. Data controller
The controller of personal data processed in connection with the use of our apps is JURACODE Krzysztof Jura, ul. gen. Leopolda Okulickiego 53 lok. 32, 42-218 Częstochowa, Poland, Tax ID (NIP): 5732826452, REGON: 387212788 (“JuraCode”, “we”, “us”). Privacy contact: kontakt@juracode.pl.
2. Our approach
We build our apps to collect as little data as possible. Unless stated otherwise for a given app in section 6, the app:
- does not require you to create an account or sign in,
- does not collect directly identifying data such as your name, email address or phone number,
- does not access your location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera,
- stores settings and progress (e.g. game state) only locally on your device.
We do not sell user data.
3. Data used by specific features
The features described below are present only in the apps for which they are listed in section 6.
3.1. In-app purchases and paid apps
Payments are processed by Google Play. We do not have access to your card or other payment details. Google provides us with transaction information (e.g. order ID, purchased product, date, country), which we use to deliver purchased content, handle complaints and refunds, and comply with tax obligations.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (tax and accounting obligations).
3.2. Crash reports and diagnostics
The app may automatically send a report when it stops working correctly (e.g. using Firebase Crashlytics). The report contains technical information: device model, operating system and app version, error trace and a random installation identifier. It does not contain content you enter in the app. We use crash reports solely to detect and fix bugs.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interest in keeping the app stable.
3.3. Usage statistics
The app may collect information about how it is used (e.g. app launches, completed levels, session length) together with a random installation identifier and approximate location derived from your IP address (country, region), e.g. using Google Analytics for Firebase. This helps us improve our apps. We collect usage statistics only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the app settings.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
3.4. Advertising
Free apps may display ads served by Google AdMob. For this purpose Google may process your device’s advertising ID, IP address, device information and data about your interactions with ads. Personalised (interest-based) ads are shown only after you give consent, which we ask for when you first launch the app. Without consent, non-personalised ads are shown.
You can change your consent in the app settings, and reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads). Learn how Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for personalised ads; our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for non-personalised ads and ad fraud prevention.
3.5. Sign-in, achievements and leaderboards (Google Play Games Services)
If a game uses Google Play Games Services, we process your player ID, player name, achievements, leaderboard scores and cloud saves in order to provide these features. Signing in is optional and the game also works without it.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the service you use).
3.6. Support requests
If you contact us about an app, we process your email address, the content of your message and any information you provide (e.g. device model) in order to resolve your request.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interest in handling support requests.
4. App permissions
Our apps request only the permissions required for their features to work. You can revoke permissions that require your consent at any time in Android settings. The list of permissions is shown on Google Play and in section 6.
5. Children
Unless stated otherwise in section 6, our apps are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. Apps designed for children are built in line with the Google Play Families policies – they do not show personalised ads and do not collect children’s personal data. If you believe we have received a child’s data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
6. Apps and services used
Below we list our apps together with the features from section 3 that they use.
| App | Features and third-party services | Android permissions |
|---|---|---|
| This list will be completed when our first app is published. | ||
7. Data retention
- data stored locally on your device – until you uninstall the app or clear its data,
- crash reports – up to 90 days,
- usage statistics – no longer than 14 months,
- player account data – until the account is deleted,
- transaction data – for the period required by tax and accounting laws (generally 5 years),
- support correspondence – until the request is resolved and then no longer than 12 months.
8. Recipients and transfers outside the EEA
Data may be processed by providers of services used by a given app – Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC (Google Play, Firebase, AdMob, Google Play Games Services) – and by companies providing us with IT and accounting services. Google’s processing is described in the Google Privacy Policy and, for Firebase, at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (e.g. to the USA), the transfer is based on a European Commission adequacy decision (including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or on standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.
9. Security
Data transmitted between the app and servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). We apply technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.
10. Account and data deletion
To learn how to request deletion of your account or data, see Account and data deletion.
11. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, and object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, email kontakt@juracode.pl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl) – or with the authority in your country of residence.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, e.g. when we publish a new app or change the services we use. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top. In case of discrepancies, the Polish version prevails.
